A fluffy and lightly sweetened loaf with a cinnamon sugar ribbon and fairy motif. Comes with a packet of naturally colorful nonpareils to scatter on the bread after it's toasted--Toast it. Butter it. Sprinkle it. Love it.
Name inspired by cinnamon sugar toast I make for my kids. Also, while I'm not Australian, in Australia, "Fairy Bread" is white bread with butter that is fully coated with colorful nonpareils (or "hundreds and thousands" as Aussies call them). For this bread, I blended the two together--cinnamon sugar ribbon in the loaf and nonpareils for sprinkling.
Ingredients: white flour, whole wheat flour, water, sourdough levain, white chocolate chips (cane sugar, palm kernel oil, brown rice syrup solids, sunflower lecithin, vanilla extract) cane sugar, cinnamon, salt,
Sprinkle ingredients: cane sugar, corn starch, vegetable juices, spirulina, tumeric, beta carotene and riboflavin), caranuba wax
This loaf has had at least a 24 hour long ferment.
